Upon your arrival at Kathmandu Airport, you will be greeted by one of our representatives from Nature Fun Adventure. Later we drive to your hotel and give you a briefing about your trek together with your guide. After checking in and refreshing, the evening is free for you to rest and prepare for the adventure ahead. Review your trekking equipment and discuss any questions with your guide. Early morning around 5 am, you will be met by our guide and drive to the Domestic airport for our flight to Lukla. Beautiful morning and about 40 minutes of thrilling flight take you to the world's most adventurous airport, Lukla, situated at 2,800 meters. The flight offers stunning aerial views of the Himalayas. You will have your breakfast here and get ready for the hike to Everest Base Camp. After meeting the rest of the crew and loading gear, begin your trek descending through forested paths to Phakding village along the Dudh Koshi River. The gentle walk helps you ease into the trek while enjoying views of Kusum Kanguru and surrounding peaks. Overnight at tea house lodge.

With our morning breakfast around 7 am, we begin our hike to Namche Bazar. We have to cross numerous suspension bridges decorated with colorful prayer flags and trek past villages like Benkar and Monjo. Near Monjo our permits will be checked and we enter the Sagarmatha National Park. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River valley through pine forests. After crossing the confluence of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers, the trail makes a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar. During this day's trekking, trekkers can see Thamserku and Kusum Kangaru clearly, and if weather permits, you might catch your first glimpse of Mount Everest. Namche Bazaar is a vibrant Sherpa town nestled in a natural amphitheater. Overnight at tea house lodge.

After breakfast and optional early morning hike to Everest View Hotel for acclimatization and stunning mountain views, we begin our trek to Tengboche. Everest will be far distant and you will crave to reach there on this day. The trail contours around the hillside with spectacular views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam. Descend to Phunki Thenga for lunch. Green lush forests on either side of the trail and herds of yaks carrying goods are a usual sight. The journey consists of flat, downhill, and uphill walking through rhododendron and pine forests. The final ascent to Tengboche is steep but rewarding. Get blessed by the sight of Khumbu Valley from top of Tengboche on either side including gigantic Mt. Ama Dablam looming at the backdrop. Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest in the Khumbu region. Take a walk around the monastery in the evening before chilling out at the dining hall of the tea house. The day will be picturesque because of rivers, forests, and hilly landscapes having mountains in the background. The trail descends through forests to Deboche and crosses the Imja Khola river. Continue through Pangboche village where you can visit the ancient monastery. Once trekkers trek past Pangboche and Somare, the trail gradually ascends with increasingly sparse vegetation as you gain altitude. There awaits the valley of Dingboche between Nagarshan hill, Chhukung Valley, and Ama Dablam Mountain. Dingboche is a beautiful village with stone-walled fields and spectacular views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam. The afternoon is free for rest and acclimatization. We ascend all the way up to Lobuche on this day with some occasional rough flat trail. The trail climbs steadily to Dughla where you stop for lunch. From Dughla, climb the steep terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. Grassy meadows and bushes are the only vegetation that you can see on this day. The most memorable portion of this day's trekking would be the Everest Memorial at Thukla Pass dedicated to climbers and Sherpas who lost their lives on Everest, and the sight of Pumori, Lobuche, Cholatse, and other mountains. The trail then flattens as it passes along the Khumbu Glacier moraine. Lobuche is a small tranquil village on the bank of the river facing the Kongma La Pass with stunning mountain views all around. Overnight at tea house lodge.

After climbing the Lobuche Pass we will have to walk through the moraine. The trail is rugged and rocky which requires careful walking through rocky terrain alongside the Khumbu Glacier. Once you have reached Gorak Shep, the last settlement before base camp, we will keep our baggage at the lodge and have lunch. After lunch, we set out to reach Everest Base Camp. The trail crosses the Khumbu Glacier moraine through rocky paths with cairns marking the way. After walking for about 3 hours through challenging terrain, you can reach the most coveted place - Everest Base Camp at 5,364 meters. Stand at the base of the world's highest mountain and witness the Khumbu Icefall, colorful tents during climbing season, and the massive ice formations. Take pictures and create some memories that will last a lifetime. We will again trek back to Gorak Shep for an overnight stay. Overnight at tea house lodge.

Early in the morning around 4 am, we will climb the Kala Patthar before sunrise. The pre-dawn climb is cold but absolutely worth it. Behold the mesmerizing sight of sun rays kissing gigantic mountains. Watch as the first light illuminates Mount Everest, Nuptse, Changtse, Pumori, and countless other peaks in golden hues. Such a wonderful sight is really worth all the hardship and physical endurance that you have spent all these days. From Kala Patthar, you get the closest view of Everest without actually climbing it. After spending time at this magnificent viewpoint and taking photos, we then trek downhill towards Pheriche trekking past Gorak Shep, Lobuche, and Thukla. The long descent provides relief as you reach lower altitude. Overnight at tea house lodge.

The trail is the same as you have ascended but don't forget to enjoy the return trip. Our experts say that while you return you will see different perspectives and landscapes. Descend through Pangboche and continue to Tengboche for a final visit to the monastery. Cross the Dudh Koshi River and ascend back to Namche Bazaar. The familiarity of the trail and lower altitude makes walking easier. Your body feels stronger at this altitude after spending time higher up. Celebrate your achievement and enjoy the amenities of Namche Bazaar including hot showers, bakeries, and souvenir shops. Overnight at tea house lodge.

The most joyous day of our trekking is this day. With the memory of Everest's journey in mind, we jovially trek downhill crossing suspension bridges and through Monjo (exit from Sagarmatha National Park) and Phakding to reach Lukla. The trail descends through forests and alongside the Dudh Koshi River. Enjoy the lush vegetation and warmer temperatures at lower altitude. The evening can be fun-filled with celebrations among crew members and trekking partners. Relish Nepalese delicacies or drinks and enjoy the last evening in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Early morning from Lukla, you will take a flight to Kathmandu. Enjoy final aerial views of the Himalayas during the 40-minute flight. Rest of the day at yourself, take a rest and relax. Enjoy a hot shower and comfortable bed. Optional activities include souvenir shopping in Thamel or visiting nearby sites. By this evening, Nature Fun Adventure offers you Nepali Cultural Dinner at a traditional restaurant featuring cultural performances with traditional music and dance. Celebrate the successful completion of your Everest Base Camp adventure. Overnight at Kathmandu Hotel.

Today is your final day on the trip. If you are interested, you may extend your stay for more adventures in Nepal such as jungle safari in Chitwan, paragliding in Pokhara, or other trekking routes. One of our representatives will transfer you to Kathmandu Airport. Please note that you have to be at the airport 3 hours before flight time.
